About Our Church
Our Mission
Our Mission at Ecclesia of Living Waters Ministries is to provide a pathway to purpose by the Living Word of God.
Our History
Ecclesia of Living Waters, previously Praise the Lord Ministries, was birthed out of my home in spring of 2001 in the basement. We started with thirteen committed, God-fearing saints. We moved from the basement of my home to Bedford Elementary School in January 2002, which became Praise the Lord Ministries' official launch date. The Lord led the ministry to 4820-P Seton Drive, Baltimore, Maryland in 2003. There the Lord added greatly to the church. As we began to grow and discover our purpose in the ministry, the growth became so overwhelming that we had to move into a larger facility.
The new location was a 40,000 square foot building just two doors away. We started out with a lease of 3,000 square feet. The growth of the ministry became so great that we had to move once again. Space became available in the same building and we took advantage of the opportunity and leased 10,000 of the 40,000 square foot building. The Lord was adding to the church daily and souls were being saved. Our numbers began to grow from 13 to 350 saints of God.
I was led by the Lord to step out on faith to purchase a building rather than lease. In preparation and anticipation, we moved the ministry to Best Western Hotel in Baltimore, MD in 2008. God blessed the ministry to purchase 2901 North Rolling Road Windsor Mill, MD in 2010. Once again the ministry is growing and everything in the "Kingdom of God" is getting up and getting better.
As we continue to grow in the years to come, we know that we have come this far by faith in the work of Christ. Ecclesia of Living Waters is a Church Committed to Excellence Empowered by the Word of God.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ (John 10:33);
His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35);
His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26);
His miracles (John 2:11);
His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9);
to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19);
His bodily resurrection (John 11:25, 1 Corinthians 15:4);
His ascension and return in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11).
We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; that people are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ; and that only by God's grace and through faith alone are we saved. (John 3:16-19, 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5)
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto life, and they that are lost unto damnation. (John 5:28-29)
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ. (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13)
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. (Romans 8:13-14, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30, 5:18
